Winter days can get monotonous sometimes, but they don’t have to be boring. After all, we live in a state that’s brimming with seasonal outdoor activities – skiing, snowboarding, sledding, ice skating, and…tubing. When that need for speed and wintertime thrills calls, make your way to this snow tubing park in Pennsylvania. It boasts more than 14 snow tubing lanes.
Soar down a 900-foot hill, over and over again, during your two-hour snow tubing session at Iron Valley Tubing Park in Lebanon.
If you think the 900-foot hill is impressive, wait until you experience the 130-foot drop. Be prepared for your heart to beat just a little faster as you race down the hill.
Iron Valley Tubing Park features 15 lanes, so you won’t have to worry about huge lines. The total number of participants is also limited during the two-hour tubing sessions.
Don’t worry about getting winded trudging all the way back up the hill after your runs. Just climb aboard one of the two tow lifts for an effortless ride to the top.
Snow tubing promises a ton of seasonal fun for adventurers of all ages. However, kiddos must be at least 40 inches tall, and ideally four years old, to participate. Iron Valley Tubing has a separate kids’ hill with four lanes. Adults are not permitted on the kids’ hill.
Keep tabs on whether the kids’ hill is open by checking out the Pennsylvania snow tubing park’s website.
How fast you zip down the hill really depends on the weather conditions. Natural snow usually means a slower ride while man-made snow often equals zipping down the hill at a fast pace.
Grab a quick bite at the snack bar if you need to refuel before your next run down the hill. Or, wait until after your session ends, and sit down to a delicious meal at Miner’s Pub.
Tickets must be purchased prior to your visit to Iron Valley Tubing Park, and the facility recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before your session time.
