In a world of uncertainty, many crave a bit of tranquility. A place where they can escape to clear their mind and to relax. Tucked away in the Laurel Highlands, surrounded by lush greenery, Saint Vincent promises an inspiring experience for those who visit and study here. This monastery in Pennsylvania boasts a rich history in the Catholic church.
Founded in 1846, Saint Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe holds distinction as the oldest Benedictine monastery in the United States.
Sprawled across 200 acres, the Saint Vincent Campus includes the Archabbey Monastery, the Archabbey Basilica, Saint Vincent Seminary, and Saint Vincent College.
Tour the school, the basilica, or the seminary. (Call for more information.) Or, head over during training camp. Saint Vincent's campus also hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers' training camp, luring countless fans to Latrobe each summer.
