We all need to reconnect with nature sometimes. However, finding the time for getting outdoors can be tough. That’s why you just might want to add this waterfall trail in Pennsylvania to your to-do list. The short, picturesque trail offers you plenty of opportunities to breathe in the fresh air, to enjoy the golden sunshine, and to feel the cool mist of a beautiful waterfall. Even better? You don’t have to devote a whole day to it if you don’t have the time.
Slip on your sturdiest hiking boots - you're going to need them - before setting off on Slateford Creek Falls Trail, heading to the Lower Falls.
Feel the cool mist of the lower falls when you arrive at the waterfall. You'll probably hear the Lower Falls before the beautiful natural wonder comes into view.
You can double back to return to the beginning of the trail. If you keep going on the trail, however, you will arrive at the Upper Falls, also picture-perfect all year round.
