Short and sweet makes for the perfect hike. When you add jaw-dropping views of the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania, it really doesn’t get any better, does it? Even if you’re not a hiker, you’ll definitely want to follow Raymondskill Creek Trail, an easy loop trail, that promises some of the prettiest views you’ll see in Pennsylvania.
Tucked in the Delaware Water Gap, Raymondskill Falls earns bragging rights as the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania, cascading down a spectacular 150 feet.
You only have to follow a short .03-mile trail, Raymondskill Creek Trail, to reach the jaw-dropping natural wonder. Start your hike with a sit-down and photos at the beginning of the trail (pictured below).
Up and down a stone staircase, which can present an issue for some. (Climbs can be steep.) Other than that, the trail is considered easy for hikers of all ages and all skill levels.
While it may seem tempting to swim in the pool into which Raymondskill Falls drops, swimming within "50 feet upstream of a waterfall" is prohibited in Pennsylvania. Swimming in a waterfall is also not allowed.
