Sometimes we all need a break during the day. Something out of the ordinary. Something that allows us to pamper ourselves and to enjoy a good chat with friends. An hour or two to sit back, relax, and sip on a cup of hot tea. Maybe dine on a tasty meal then nibble on a scrumptious dessert. Take a break from the norm when you visit this storybook tea room in Pennsylvania.
Stroll along a quaint sidewalk of charming storefronts until you arrive at Serendipity Tea Room and Cafe, a whimsical spot that looks as though it's stepped from the pages of a storybook.
Serendipity Tea Room and Cafe offers several tea services - High Tea, Lite Tea, and Princess Tea. High Tea consists of full beverage service, a scone, salad, sandwiches and desserts.
Bring the kids along for the popular Princess Tea. Children will enjoy a delightful assortment of treats, including a scone, a sandwich, sides, ice cream, and a drink. A craft is also included.
But, Serendipity Tea Room and Cafe serves more than high tea. The eatery features a generous menu of homemade soup, salads, and sandwiches. A kid's menu is also available.
Serendipity Tea Room and Cafe also hosts special events, such as the Annual Christmas Tea. The holiday tea is a popular tradition where guests enjoy high tea and live entertainment.
The Serendipity Tea Room welcomes guests from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. The tea room is currently closed for winter break until January 31, 2018. Reservations are required.
