Satisfy that gnawing hunger, with a two-foot-long hoagie or smaller, at the quaint 9th Street Deli, tucked along Philadelphia Street in Indiana.
Be forewarned, however, that if you waver when you make decisions, you’re going to face a doozy at this small town deli. After all, its menu boasts 50 hoagies, sandwiches, and wraps.
The best way to cure your hunger, though, is with one of the massive two-foot-long hoagies or subs, whichever you prefer to call it. (For the record, the deli refers to its famous sandwiches as “subs.”)
Boasting a selection of a dozen subs available in eight-inch, 12-inch, and 24-inch, the menu features all of the classics – Italian, veggie, and roast beef, for example.
Two feet of deliciousness is sure to fill you up now and later, but take a peek at the rest of the menu. You might want to order a few others favorites – homemade soup or a fresh salad – to go.
While the hoagies are the star the menu, it’s also brimming with other tasty options, including burgers, wraps, chicken tenders, and steak and cheese sandwiches.
Have you been to this deli in Pennsylvania? What did you think of the subs? Let us know in the comments! Did you know that Indiana is also the birthplace of Jimmy Stewart? After your meal at 9th Street Deli, head over to The Jimmy Stewart Museum to check out the memorabilia and catch one of his popular films.
