You might even be lucky enough to wake up to a visitor who's stopped by to say hi. If not, grab the binoculars in your room to see if you can spot bald eagles or other birds circling overhead.
For lunch and dinner, make your own meal on one of the outdoor grills, or gather around the fire pit in the evenings to roast marshmallows and stargaze.
One of the first things you'll notice about Bald Eagle State Park is its stunning beauty. Sit outside at the inn to drink in the sunrise or the sunset.
All rooms feature a pair of binoculars for bird-watching. One of the best ways to explore the park is on one of its more than a half-dozen hiking trails.
FJ Sayers Lake is popular for boating, fishing, and swimming. If you're visiting during the summer, while away the hours on the sandy beach before cooling off in the water.
