Breathe in the fresh spring air and soak up the golden sunshine at Trax Farms, a sprawling farm near Pittsburgh that's perhaps best known for its epic fall festival.
Plenty of Pittsburghers have made strawberry picking at Trax Farms an annual tradition, so it can get crowded. Fortunately, you'll find plenty of parking.
And, plan a visit during the Annual Strawberry Festival, slated for June 15-16, 2019. The annual two-day festival will feature plenty of strawberry goodies — from strawberry slushies to strawberry shortcake — and fun for the whole family.
But, if you plan to visit the strawberry fields outside of festival hours, call the farm at 412-835-3246 prior to showing up to ensure that there are strawberry picking hours that day.
