Journey back to a different era – the opening of the 20th century – when you visit The Grand Concourse, an elegantly renovated former railroad station turned seafood restaurant. The Grand Concourse, the best train-themed restaurant in Pittsburgh, promises a unique dining experience.
The Grand Concourse made its grand entrance on the Pittsburgh landscape as the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Station in 1901.
The popular seafood restaurant features a generous menu with such entrees as jumbo shrimp scampi, planked salmon, New York strip steak, and yellow fin tuna.
Plan a trip to The Grand Concourse for Sunday Brunch, which includes scrumptious homemade donuts, omelettes, baked ham, fried potatoes and peppers, hot apple dumplings, and white chocolate cheese cake.
The Grand Concourse welcomes guests Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday Brunch is served each week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Grand Concourse stands as perhaps the best train-themed restaurant in Pittsburgh but it certainly isn’t the only one. Click here to learn more about dining in an old rail car turned restaurant in Latrobe.
