Tucked along a winding stretch of tree-lined Route 30 in Ligonier, The Road Toad promises a delicious meal and stunning views.
Or, when you make a reservation, request a seat by the windows that overlook the shimmering Loyalhanna River. (Weather-permitting, you can also sit on the outside deck.)
Order such scrumptious appetizers as the jumbo shrimp cocktail, pierogies, or chicken wings. Of course, you might also want to start with a house salad or soup.
Or, jump right into the entree, such as the N.Y. strip steak, liver and onions, or ribeye steak. The menu also boasts chicken, seafood, and pasta dishes.
