We all have our “go to” restaurants, our regular spots that we go to when we’re in the mood for a guaranteed good meal. But, sometimes we also like to try something different. Choosing a restaurant to try, of course, can often be challenging. And, sometimes it’s as easy as choosing a restaurant that has been a culinary staple in Pittsburgh for decades. Next time you’re having that age old argument – where do you want to go to eat – plan a visit to this historic restaurant in Pittsburgh.
Tucked in the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, the Terrace Room, formerly the Italian Terrace, dates back to 1916.
So, plan a visit to The Terrace Room, which serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Start with a glass of wine or a cocktail, such as the Champagne Cobbler, Moscow Mule, or Unfiltered Martini.
Experience the historic Terrace Room, which welcomes diners for daily from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
