Here comes Peter Cottontail hopping down the…got that little ditty in your head now? Now you can spend a delightful afternoon with the famous rabbit himself. Peter Cottontail won’t be hopping down the bunny trail this March. Instead, he’ll be strolling up and down the aisles of this charming train near Pittsburgh.
Oil Creek & Titusville Railroad's Peter Cottontail Express, less than two hours from downtown Pittsburgh, pulls out of Perry Street Station March 31, 2018.
Mr. Cottontail will pose for pictures that will help commemorate your adventure. The three-hour scenic ride also includes a (guess how many) jelly bean contest with prizes for the winners.
The Peter Cottontail Express leaves the train station promptly at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Guests must arrive one hour (noon) prior to departure time. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended as seats fill up quickly.
However, you might want to mark your calendar for one of the season's special events. July 6-8, for example, features World War II Remembrance Weekend.
Several murder mystery dinners are also planned during the 2018 season. Murder mystery dinners feature a buffet dinner, dessert, a train ride, and a show.
