Mac and cheese just might be the best of all the comfort foods, at least to those of us who simply can’t say no to a piping hot bowl of it. Who are we kidding? It certainly tops the list, right? After all, it’s a delightfully cheesy and filling meal that we can eat any time of the day or the night. Celebrate the cheesy goodness of mac and cheese – and sample some from more than 30 vendors – at this epic festival in Pittsburgh.
Start counting down the days, yinzers who love mac and cheese, because the Pittsburgh Mac and Cheese Festival, set for September 21, 2019, will be here before we know it.
But, tickets are on sale now, and they're expected to sell out well in advance of this epic festival that will be held at Highmark Stadium in the South Side.
And, as you savor every cheesy bite of your mac and cheese dishes, listen to the live entertainment. (Entertainment details have not yet been released.)
You've probably already decide that this is the place to be on September 21, right? Now, you just have to decide what type of tickets to purchase. The day will be divided into two sessions. Session 1 runs from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. while Session 2 is set for 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Know which session you want? Then, you can decide what type of ticket to purchase. Just Entry costs $20 in advance and only includes your admission to the event. (You'll have to pay for all food and drink.)
General admission is $40 in advance, and you'll receive 10 food tickets and one drink. Finally, the VIP is $55 in advance and comes with early entry, a VIP area, 10 food tickets, and two drinks.
