What goes just perfectly with an ice cream treat? Why, a trip down Memory Lane. And, that’s just what you can expect when you visit one of the best ice cream parlors in Pittsburgh. The longstanding ice cream parlor offers a plethora of taste-tantalizing flavors that can only be rivaled by the ice cream parlor’s old-time vibe.
Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor boasts a storied history, dating back to 1923. Originally run as an apothecary and ice cream parlor by James and Mary Klavon, Klavon's closed in 1977.
It remained shut for the next 20 years. Then, the Klavon's grandchildren re-opened the ice cream parlor, which still looks as though it's stepped out of the past.
So, what'll you have? Choose from one of the assortment of sundaes, such as the pineapple upside down cake, the cookie monster, or the peanut butter and jelly.
Indulge in a scrumptious ice cream treat at Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor. Stop by Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.
