Virtual hands up if you’re already starting to count down the days until Christmas Day. When you think about it, we really don’t have that many weekends until Santa makes his global flight on Christmas Eve. That means we have a ton of fun activities to pack into a short timeframe. For a memorable day the whole family will love, make your way to Flemings Farms near Pittsburgh.
Flemings Farms in New Alexandria, about a 40-minute drive from downtown Pittsburgh, welcomes holiday revelers to its Family Fun Weekends.
The festive event will kick off on Black Friday, November 27, 2020 and will run that weekend and the following weekend. Your best bet is to confirm days and hours, by calling 724-801-1471, before heading to the farm.
Bundle up for a daylong adventure that’s jam-packed with family-friendly activities. If you don’t have your Christmas tree yet, you can cut your own tree on the farm or choose a pre-cut tree.
Whether you’re planning to cut your own tree or you just want to stroll through the Christmas tree field, climb aboard a scenic hayride for a trip around the farm.
The Family Fun Weekends will, of course, feature a ton of fun for the kiddos, too. Don’t forget your camera, because Santa will be on hand to pose for photos and to listen to Christmas wishes.
Watch the kiddos as they play games before stopping by the shop to pick up unique holiday gifts. The farm will also feature a concession stand as well as wreaths and other decorations for sale.
