Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned climber, you’ll definitely find a wall that challenges you.
Spend a few hours or an entire day climbing at The Climbing Wall, on Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh, a spacious facility that boasts 14,000 square feet of climbing space.
If you want to advance your climbing or bouldering skills, you can sign up for one of the regularly offered classes. Classes are available in belaying and lead climbing. (Both lead to certification.)
For a more personal experience, sign up for one of the private lessons. Private lessons allow you to work on your own personal goals with an experienced instructor.
If the summer days are growing long for the kiddos, you can bring them to The Climbing Wall, too. A special Kids Climb is held every Wednesday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Climb the walls at The Climbing Wall, open Monday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Or, stop by Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
