What do you get when you take a lovely spring day and add locally baked cookies and a jam-packed Pittsburgh swag bag? A fun experience the whole family will love. Even better, the proceeds from the Black & Gold Cookie Table Drive-Thru in Pittsburgh benefit Dress for Success, a local organization that helps women dress for success and reach their goals.
Enjoy a lovely spring afternoon outdoors and help fellow Pittsburghers at the Black & Gold Cookie Table Drive-Thru in Pittsburgh, set for May 16, 2021.
Drive along the designated path at Hartwood Acres where you’ll receive two dozen homemade cookies from The Little Kitchen, a local, woman-owned bakery.
However, that’s just the start of the fun. You’ll also receive a picnic blanket, perfect for spreading out on a secluded spot on the park’s lawn and a swag bag chock full of goodies.
The reusable tote bag will come with such goodies as a coupon for a free smiley cookie and a kids’ meal at Eat ‘N Park, a mini candle from Pittsburgh Candle Works, and a mini popcorn bag from Popped Envy.
Dress for Success will also hold a raffle with a prize package worth an estimated $2,000 and featuring such prizes as gift cards and autographed sports jerseys.
All guests will receive one entry for the raffle as part of the $100 per vehicle cost to attend the Black & Gold Cookie Table Drive-Thru. Tickets are on sale now and must be purchased by April 30 to guarantee a cookie box.
