Escape rooms have been all the rage in recent years. The pandemic has temporarily shuttered most of the escape rooms around Pittsburgh. However, if you’ve been itching to solve a mystery, you can still virtually visit one escape room in Pittsburgh that’s currently offering audio escape room adventures.

60 Minute Missions, in Greensburg, has been challenging Pittsburghers with its action-packed escape rooms since 2016, and it will soon open a Murrysville location.

However, since the pandemic has shut most businesses, including 60 Minute Missions, the entertainment venue has started something new – virtual escape rooms.

Sticking to its name, each virtual/audio escape room lasts 60 minutes and promises the same fun and excitement as a traditional escape room.

Here’s how it works. Each escape room costs $30 for a group of between two and four players with escape room themes changing every so often. Themes may be Magician or Summer Camp, for example.
