Pennsylvanians are as diverse as the landscape that makes up our beautiful state. But, we do, of course, share plenty of common ground. We can probably all agree that we either love or loathe scrapple. We love PA. And, when faced with the tough choice of what to have for dinner, plenty of us will answer “pierogies!” Today, we celebrate the magical annual event that’s so perfectly Pennsylvania. (Hint: And, it involves pierogies.)
All hail, the pierogi! After all, who can resist that delicious Polish dish, especially when the pierogies are homemade?
The highlight of the two-day festival, of course, is all those delicious pierogies (save your appetite!). Food vendors that joined the festival in 2017 included Joe's Homemade Pierogies and Just "R" Pierogi.
Plenty of other vendors will also be on hand during the two day festival that runs from Friday through Saturday. Shop for unique gifts. Let the kids get their faces painted and...
