A leisurely hike is one of the best ways to enjoy nature all year around. We have so many easy hikes scattered throughout the state that we’re never too far from the perfect trail for our mood, for the weather, and for our skill level. The Tobyhanna State Park Loop Trail in Pennsylvania boasts an abundance of gorgeous scenery and local wildlife. If you’re up for a scenic stroll, you’ve found the perfect trail.
Wandering just over five miles through Tobyhanna State Park, the trail of the same name has earned an easy rating from All Trails.
Even if you don't feel like following the entire trail, you can easily turn around when you've had enough. There's a pretty good chance, though, that you'll want to see all this trail has to offer.
However, the trail is popular in all seasons. You can even slip on a pair of skis for cross-country skiing in the winter. Ice skating on the lake is also a popular winter activity.
