Okay, pickle lovers, just how much do you love pickles? When you run out of pickles, do you drink the rest of the pickle juice? Does the sound of pickle potato chips or pickle ice cream sound like a tiny piece of heaven to you? And, can you imagine spending a few hours – or an entire day – at a pickle-themed festival in Pennsylvania that’s jam-packed with pickle-themed activities and food?
Celebrate the deliciousness of pickles at Picklesburgh, an epic free pickle-themed festival in Pittsburgh that's set for July 26-28, 2019.
Returning for its fifth year, Picklesburgh promises to be the biggest yet. In past years, the festival was held on the Roberto Clemente Bridge. This year, the festival will extend to a portion of Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
A pickle juice drinking contest. Show off your pickle drinking skills with other contestants. The contestant who drinks the most pickle juice in the fastest time will win a prize.
Of course, Picklesburgh will also feature demonstrations and a slew of vendors. Previous vendors have included Byler's Relish House, Epic Pickles, and Gosia's Pierogies.
