We are now approaching the middle to end of summer… and beautiful days are a dime a dozen. Sometimes, it rains, and sometimes, you just don’t feel like being outside. For those occasions, you have many fun options at your disposal that you might not even know about. Here are ten awesome things to do in Pennsylvania on a rainy day.

If you want all the fun of a waterpark without the hassle of direct contact with the outside world and insects (or if it happens to be raining) then Camelbeach is waiting for you. It's the largest indoor waterpark in the state of Pennsylvania.

The second largest mall in America lies on the outskirts of Philadelphia. Go wander around and get lost. (That's what always seemed to happen to me when I went there.)

Go look at some birds! This place is incredible, and has rooms dedicated to various ecological systems, such as jungle, marsh, and desert. They have penguins, bald eagles, burrowing owls, and MORE!

Go look at some weird art. Don't just look at it, immerse yourself in it. The Mattress Factory is a museum dedicated to art installations in Pittsburgh's North Side. Some of them will leave you scratching your head and others are just plain fun. The Andy Warhol Museum is nearby, as well as one of Pittsburgh's many impressive museums.

Seeing movies is always fun (if you pick a good movie) so why not intensify things a bit by making the screen GIGANTIC?! Bonus points: you can check out the Benjamin Franklin Museum while you're there. Where else can you walk through a giant, plywood heart?

Just because it's raining doesn't mean you can't work out and accomplish death-defying physical feats.
