September’s shaping up to be a whole lot of fun, brimming with festivals and other fun activities. One of the most treasured annual festivals, the PA Heritage Festival in Pennsylvania, returns, too. The weekend will be jam-packed with Civil War reenactments, demonstrations, and an arts and crafts show. Bring the kiddos along, too, to give them a peek at the past and to enjoy the full menu of kids’ activities.
The PA Heritage Festival returns to Troy on September 18-19, 2021. Saturday's hours run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year's theme, "Warriors, Wigwam, & Wampum" will provide insight on the Native Americans from Pennsylvania with an assortment of exhibits and a life-size wigwam.
Civil War reenactments will also take place throughout the festival. Pennsylvania was, of course, home to the bloodiest battle of the war, the Battle of Gettysburg.
