Pennsylvania boasts an abundance of thrills, chills, and amazing roller coasters. However, if you want to take an epic ride on Pennsylvania’s only mountain coaster, you have to head to Camelback Mountain Resort. Climb aboard this one-of-a-kind attraction in Pennsylvania that’s sure to have you coming back again and again.
Camelback Mountain Resort in Tannersville is the place to go if you’re searching for family-friendly fun. The popular resort offers everything from a water park in the summer to tubing in the winter.
Slip into your seat on the coaster that will take you soaring down a 4,500-foot steel track that winds past lush trees as you make your way down the mountain. Oh, and expect lots of steep slopes on your ride.
If you’re not a fan of hurdling down mountains, even on a mountain coaster, no worries. You control the speed, which can reach up to 25 miles per hour.
Before you purchase your tickets, which you must do online before heading over to the resort, make sure everyone in your party meets the rider requirements.
Drivers must stand at least 52 inches while riders must be a minimum of 36 inches. Kiddos as young as three can ride the mountain coaster. However, only those nine and older can drive.
