Exploring the natural beauty of Pennsylvania is as easy as heading to one of our state parks, where we’ll find everything from the old-growth forest and sandy beaches to cascading waterfalls and fascinating rock formations. The state park system, in fact, grew in 2022, expanding from 121 to 124 state parks with the addition of Big Elk Creek State Park in Chester County, Vosburg Neck State Park in Wyoming County, and Riverlands State Park in York County.
