Mysterious roads certainly aren’t rare in Pennsylvania. After all, we have heard plenty of bone-chilling tales about some of the most haunted roads – Blue Mist Road and Hansell Road, for example – in the state. However, there’s another mysterious Pennsylvania road — but it isn’t haunted, exactly. Cars are said to roll up this mysterious road, and it’s something you’ll probably want to experience for yourself.

Several states, including Missouri and South Dakota, lay claim to the mysterious Gravity Hill, in which cars appear to roll backwards uphill. Pennsylvania boasts two gravity hills.

One, McKinney Road in Allison Park, sits just outside of Pittsburgh. You’ll find the other in New Paris in Bedford County, and it’s quite a popular attraction with curiosity seekers.

A road sign lets you know you’ve arrived at Gravity Hill. If you want to test out whether your vehicle rolls uphill, put your car in neutral and ease off of the brake.

However, before you do all of that, make sure the road is clear, so you don’t cause an accident. If someone’s trying to pass you, let them pass before doing your experiment.
