We all need a little bit of fairy tale magic in our lives, don’t we? A place where we can go that’s so beautiful, so peaceful, and so enchanting that we feel as though we’ve stepped into another world. And, for a brief moment, we can forget our worries and focus on the beauty around us. Plan a visit to this enchanting garden in Pennsylvania that’s brimming with pure natural and man-made beauty.
Walk along winding paths as you explore Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania, a spectacular display of nature that dates back to 1887.
Or, join one of the guided tours that's scheduled at 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Special guided tours, such as the Saturday Morning Live Tour, are also held throughout the year.
And, be sure to visit some of the garden's most popular spots. Stroll 50 feet above the ground, for example, at Out on a Limb. The canopy walk among the trees offers stunning views of the scenery below.
And, Morris Arboretum hosts a slew of events throughout the year, such as the Holly Highlights and Winter Greenery Tour (set for four dates in November and December 2018).
Feel as though you've entered an enchanted world at Morris Arboretum, open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Admission fees apply.)
