Head outdoors for a few hours of exploring Millbrook Marsh Nature Center in State College, spanning 63 acres, including a 51-acre wetland and a 12-acre farmstead.
If you're planning on hitting one of the hiking trails, wear comfy shoes. Start your hike at the parking lot, where you can embark on a stroll on the boardwalk or another trail.
And plan to visit during such special events as the Earth Day Birthday, slated for Sunday, April 28, 2019. The family-friendly event will feature live entertainment, activities, and games.
Embark on an outdoor adventure on the grounds of Millbrook Marsh Nature Center, open daily from dawn to dusk. Or stop by the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
