Each of the jam-packed weekends features a different theme, including Children’s Weekend (September 3-5), Wine Revelry (September 10-11), and Pirate Invasion Weekend (September 17-18).
A full menu of fun awaits each weekend, so make sure you plan to spend at least a few hours at the festival grounds. Take a peek at the entertainment schedule, which is packed with magical events.
Squire of the Wire will journey across a tightrope. The Knights of Noble Cause will joust. The Topolino Sisters will tell stories for the kiddos, and that’s just a taste of all the fun on the schedule.
The festival is also known for its incredible marketplace. An eclectic assortment of vendors will be on hand, selling everything from wooden swords and shields to handmade copper jewelry.
This might be one of the tastiest festivals of the season, too, and you’ll want to sample a little bit of everything. From kettle corn to smoked bratwurst, the festival has something for all tastes. There are also several pubs on the grounds.
