Summer just might be the most delicious of all seasons, at least this year. After all, festivals have come roaring back this summer, after an absence last year. For the cheesiest experience of the year, plan a visit to this scrumptious mac and cheese festival in Pennsylvania. You’ll be able to sample more than 30 different types of mac and cheese.
Montage Mountain beckons adventurers all winter long with its outdoor activities. However, when summer rolls around, it hosts the popular Mac and Cheese Festival, making it the place to be this June.
The 2021 festival is set for June 26, 2021, and two sessions will be offered. The first session runs from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. while the second session takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Whichever session you choose, you're in for a delicious experience with local favorites showing off their mac and cheese creations. Smoked & Sauce, for example, will be dishing up its famous BBQ mac and cheese.
As you sample the mac and cheese, keep track of your favorites. You can then vote for your very favorite. The mac and cheese vendor with the most votes will win $500.
While mac and cheese is undoubtedly the star of the festival, there's plenty else to look forward to - from live entertainment to an assortment of wines and other alcoholic drinks.
You can choose from three types of tickets - Just Entry, General Admission, and VIP. Just Entry is just what it sounds like. You pay to get in, then purchase food and drinks separately.
If you choose the VIP Admission, you'll be able to enter your session an hour early, have access to a VIP area and VIP restrooms, and receive 10 mac and cheese tickets and tickets for two drinks.
