Not much can rival the simple beauty of a fountain, as the water rises then tumbles, wouldn’t you agree? Just sitting and watching a fountain can also be so calming. But, add the darkness of night, colorful lights, and an upbeat soundtrack, and what do you get? The unforgettable Festival of Fountains, a series of spectacular shows that is going on right now… and you don’t want to miss it. So, here’s a sneak peek at the musical fountain in Pennsylvania that’s like nothing you’ve ever seen.
Tucked in Kennett Square, Longwood Gardens presents a season of spectacular fountain performances during its Festival of Fountains.
Visiting the gardens during the day? Then, make a beeline for the Main Fountain Garden for a breathtaking daylight show at 11:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. The evening show kicks off at 7:15 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Please note that the 7:15 p.m. performance is not illuminated.

Watch in awe as more than 1,700 jets propel the fountains' water more than 175 feet in the air, accompanied by yesterday and today's favorite music, during the 12-minute show.
The Fountains Then & Now Performance will run through October 28, 2018.

Of course, for a truly unforgettable experience, take in an Illuminated Fountain Performance, every Thursday through Saturday at 9:15 p.m. through August 31, 2018.
So, sit back and watch the fountains dance to some of your favorite tunes. Planning a visit for the Beatles-themed show? Enjoy such popular hits as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, All You Need Is Love, and Let It Be.
Visitors are permitted to save a good spot — with a blanket or a chair — to watch the show, beginning at 5 p.m. during the summer.
But, wait! Add fireworks to the mix for an even more amazing show. Fireworks & Fountains Shows are scheduled for July 1 and 21, August 11, and September 1 and 29. You must purchase separate tickets for the Fireworks & Fountains Shows.
