Since there are so many hiking trails, more than 650, we’re sure to uncover quite a few that are new to us – like this hiking path in White Haven, Pennsylvania.
Chances are pretty good, if you're an avid explorer, that you've at least heard of Hickory Run State Park in White Haven. It's home to Boulder Field, a National Natural Landmark.
Hickory Run State Park features a full menu of activities, including hiking, disc golf, picnicking, swimming, and wildlife watching. Cross-country skiing, ice skating, and snowmobiling are popular in the winter.

The 3.4-mile loop trail, which usually takes around 90 minutes to hike, earns an easy rating, but there are some challenges along the way.
Leashed dogs are permitted on the trail; just remember to clean up after your pup.

Wear a pair of sturdy shoes as you'll deal with some rocky terrain and roots jutting out of the ground. The trail can get muddy after it rains and in the winter, so keep that in mind before setting off.
Remember to follow the pack it in, pack it out philosophy of hiking. Whatever you bring with you - water bottles, bags, etc. - take back to your vehicle.
