1. The David Stewart Farm

A day in Gettysburg usually isn’t enough, especially if you’re a history buff or are in search of the paranormal. Increase your chances of experiencing the paranormal by checking into one of the rooms at The David Stewart Farm. The farmhouse was used as a makeshift hospital after the Battle of Gettysburg. 2. The Angle

Near the Copse of Trees, the site of Pickett’s Charge during the Civil War, The Angle features a series of burial pits. While the bodies have since been moved, the burial pits remain. However, some spirits are said to have stuck around. Listen carefully, and you just might hear the anguished cries of soldiers, desperate to find a way back home.
Like the David Stewart Farm, the Inn at Herr Ridge served as a field hospital during and after the Battle of Gettysburg. The property is said to be teeming with the paranormal with blown out candles suddenly flickering on again. 4. Gettysburg College

As with most of the hauntings in Gettysburg, Gettysburg College’s paranormal history dates back to the Civil War. During the war, Pennsylvania Hall served as both a field hospital and a morgue. One of the most famous ghost tales to come out of Gettysburg College is from individuals who were on the elevator when it arbitrarily took them to the basement. When the doors opened, a hectic scenic of doctors and nurses, working feverishly on patients, played out before them. Yet, the room was absolutely silent. 5. Spangler’s Meadow

Not too far from Spangler’s Spring, a woman in white roams Spangler’s Meadow, in search of something – or someone. Believed to be a nun, the so-called woman in white has been seen countless times over the years, always floating and in search of someone, perhaps one of the countless Union soldiers who died here during the Civil War.
