Stretched across 18 acres in Mount Joy, Lancaster Farm Sanctuary provides a loving home for a variety of rescued farm animals - cows, pigs, and turkeys, to name just a few.

We have with the sanctuary's residents. Like us, each animal has his or her own personality and a story of overcoming the odds.

Tammy the Turkey, for example, is believed to have escaped a farm - and becoming someone's dinner. She was found and brought to the sanctuary by a kind-hearted soul who found her.

Pigs Wilma and Charlotte lived in horrifying conditions, locked in a tiny shed with no light. Humane officers brought the two to Lancaster Farm Sanctuary.
