Admire the shimmering blue of the man-made lake as you spend a few hours on the water. Boating, kayaking, canoeing, and windsurfing are all popular activities. You can even go iceboating during the winter.
Bring along a picnic lunch, or go to the snack bar during the summer, then have a leisurely picnic as you look out over the water glimmering in the golden sun.
If you’re up for a bit of hiking, you’ll have nearly 30 miles of trails from which to choose. For a trail that promises sensational views of the lake, follow the Sunken Garden Trail.
