Sometimes, we just need a bit of a respite, a moment to slow things down in the middle of a chaotic day. Of course, that can often be difficult to do, especially in the middle of a fast-paced city. But, this outdoor beer garden in Pennsylvania offers just that: A lush outdoor space where you can sit back, relax, play a few games, and have a few drinks.
Sprawled across 20,000 picturesque square feet, Independence Beer Garden sits near Independence National Historic Park and the Liberty Bell.
Then, decide what you'll have to drink. Will you choose one of the 40 craft beers on tap? Yards Pale Ale, Kona Big Wave, and Angry Orchard Rose are just a few of your choices.
What will you pair your drink with? Independence Beer Garden offers snacks, salads, sandwiches, and sides. Not too hungry? Then, opt for such snacks as popcorn, pickle chips, or crispy wings.
For something a little heartier, consider the smoked turkey club, pulled pork, or cheesesteak sandwich. Sides include fries, onion rings, and mac and cheese.
Stop by Independence Beer Garden Sunday through Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday's hours run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m.
