Pennsylvania isn’t anywhere near the “high seas” trafficked by legendary swashbuckling pirates, but what kid didn’t grow up with dreams of finding mysterious maps and buried chests of gold? Is there such a thing as lost treasure in Pennsylvania?
Supposedly, yes. There are numerous sites said to contain hidden or otherwise lost loot and treasures from past excursions of who-knows-who. They say there are numerous caches of gold, silver, cash, and more that were once buried for safekeeping that eventually was lost when the owner either died or forgot where they buried it.
