We all deserve to pamper ourselves every now and then. However, life tends to get in the way, and we don’t get away as often as we’d like. Escape to this Pennsylvania resort for an overnight, or longer, for a leisurely getaway. The resort boasts a full menu of amenities – from an indoor pool to a golf course. Omni Bedford Springs Resort is also known for its five restaurants, making it a foodie paradise that you’ll definitely want to visit if you appreciate good food.
A bright, airy restaurant, Tillie’s at the Clubhouse offers a delicious menu brimming with dishes made with ingredients that are sourced locally. Start your day with such breakfast classics as omelets, biscuits and gravy, and French toast. The charming restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering such favorites as shrimp tacos, roasted chicken, and prime rib dip.
Oozing charm, the Crystal Room offers a luxurious, upscale dining experience and serves both breakfast and dinner. (Reservations are required.) Indulge in a delicious breakfast, digging into such favorites as buttermilk pancakes, omelets, or avocado toast. Dinner selections range from ribeye steak to salmon. Save room for a decadent dessert, too, like the Bedford honey cheesecake.
Dine in a stunning tavern that dates back to 1806. The cozy, casual tavern features a little bit of everything. Starters include pub chips and wings, or you might opt for a fresh salad or soup. Both meat and vegan burgers, grilled cheese, and grilled chicken are among the handhelds on the menu. If you’re really hungry, go for one of the entrees, such as fish and chips or mac and cheese.
Gear up for a day of exploring the enchanting town of Bedford. Grab a bite to eat and a drink at Evitt Coffee House. The coffee house serves a variety of hot and iced drinks. If you’re hungry, check out the menu that features croissants, brownies, fruit cups, and even PB&J. Or, try one of the daily bowls, like the smoked chicken chili.
While it might not technically be a traditional restaurant, The Lobby Bar is worth a visit for a drink before or after dinner. The menu is brimming with drinks, including wine, bourbon, and gin.
