Before the Fishers bought the Country Store in 1990, the classic store was known as Kauffman's Country Store. It opened in 1981.
Exuding the charm of yesteryear, the country store does things the old-fashioned way. Staff pack all of their bulk goods in the store, for example, and slice meats and cheeses just how the customers request.
