A hike through the forest offers so much promise, doesn’t it? We never know what beauty – deer grazing, wildflowers blooming, or streams tumbling over rocks – awaits us. On hot summer days, the shade of trees keeps us cool; in the fall, the colors mesmerize us, and snow during the coldest days transforms the landscape into a winter wonderland. This waterfall trail in Pennsylvania meanders through the forest and, no matter what time of the year you visit, promises breathtaking views of one of Mother Nature’s most magnificent creations.

Pinchot State Forest spans more than 50,000 acres, welcoming visitors to explore on foot, horseback, and mountain bike. The park is also popular for kayaking, picnicking, and camping.
Sturdy shoes are a must on this trail that features rocky and muddy terrain. If you're hiking after it rains, the trail will likely be wet.
