Winter’s cold and snowy days bring with it some much-needed fun, too. From sled riding to a brisk winter’s hike, winter activities are pretty easy to find. For an enchanting evening under the twinkling of the stars and Christmas lights, make your way to Blue Cross RiverRink in Pennsylvania. That, however, is just the beginning of all the fun that awaits at this winter wonderland.
Blue Cross RiverRink's Winterfest in Philadelphia provides a magical backdrop for an evening of wintry fun, including ice skating around a massive rink.
Slip on a pair of rental skates - or bring your own - to glide around the ice rink, where you'll have sweeping views of a glittering Christmas tree, the shimmering city skyline, and the Ferris Wheel.
All guest must wear masks, due to the pandemic, and other safety measures are in place at both the ice rink and Winterfest itself to ensure everyone's safety.
You might want to treat yourself to classic carnival fare - funnel cake and hot dogs, for example - from Skelley's Amusements. Play a few carnival games, and go for a ride on the Ferris Wheel.
