A day at a waterpark in Pennsylvania usually promises a ton of fun and even more thrills. We’re fortunate to have so many big name and community waterparks dotting the state. However, if you’ve got little ones, you’ll likely find no better or well-loved than this Sesame Street-themed waterpark.
Stroll alongside some of childhood’s most beloved characters – from Elmo to Cookie Monster – at Sesame Place in Langhorne, a magical theme park brimming with rides, shows, and delicious food.
However, its cozy waterpark is just where you’ll want to be on those scorching summer days in Pennsylvania – before checking out the rest of the park, of course.
Like the rest of the park, all of the waterpark’s attractions are character-themed. Little ones seven and younger, for example, will have a blast at Ernie’s Waterworks, where they can shimmy through water mazes and cool down under fountains.
Kiddos five and under can play the day away at The Count’s Splash Castle. (A parent must join them.) Attractions include water curtains and bubbler jets.
The waterpark also features attractions the whole family can enjoy together – from a leisurely float along Big Bird’s Rambling River to splashing in a 10,000-foot wave pool.
After a day of fun in the water, explore the rest of the park. From rides to shows, the park offers fun for the whole family. You can even sign up for special events, like Dine with Elmo and Friends, with your favorite characters.
