Who’s up for a little underwater adventure? Sure, you can go swimming just about anywhere in PA. But have you ever thought about scuba diving in Pennsylvania? Whether you’re a novice who wants to learn the basics of scuba diving or you want to embark on a breathtaking excursion, you just have to visit this aqua park that offers a slew of water activities.
Start planning for an unforgettable adventure at Dutch Springs Aqua Park in Bethlehem, which offers scuba diving for both new and seasoned scuba divers.
The 50-acre Dutch Springs provides an ideal setting for novice scuba divers, who can sign up for one of the park's "Introduction to Scuba Diving" or "Discover Scuba Diving" classes.
Classes are held by appointment only from July 1 through September 30 annually. All you need to do is pay the class fee and show up with your bathing suit and a towel. (Dutch Springs does not offer scuba diving certification training.)
Swim alongside a variety of fish - from rainbow trout to large mouth bass. Or, explore one of the many underwater attractions, such as the school bus, firetruck, trolley, or van.
