Sometimes nothing hits the spot like an authentic barbecue meal, slow cooked and hearty enough to fill you up for the rest of the day. Treat yourself to a finger-licking good meal when you stop by Deke’s Bar-B-Que, with two locations in the Philadelphia area, including on Ridge Street and on Berkeley Street.
While the barbecue joint is predominately carryout and catering, the Ridge Street location, which sits in a former gas station, offers limited indoor and outdoor seating. (It is currently only serving takeout now, due to the pandemic.)
The menu’s brimming with authentic barbecue dishes that are sure to leave you happy and stuffed. All meals come in either half or full pans. Half pans feed up to 12 people while the full pan can feed up to 20 diners.
You’ll have more than a half of a dozen slow-cooked meats from which to choose, including party wings, St. Louis-style spare ribs, Texas-style slice beef brisket, and Deke’s baby back ribs.
If those choices don’t get your mouth watering, the main dishes most certainly will. Choose from such favorites as hot pit beef, BBQ zucchini bake, and sliced BBQ turkey with gravy.
You can't have an authentic barbecue meal without some classic sides, right? Deke’s dishes up collard greens, slider rolls, potato salad, and BBQ beans with sauce – all homemade.
