Warm (and hot) weather days mean just one thing: whiling away the hours at our favorite amusement park, where we can feel like a kid again as we climb aboard our favorite rides, eat those goodies that still make us giggle with childhood glee, and forget about adulthood. Hersheypark in Pennsylvania has always been a fun warm-weather destination. This year, however, brings with it some decadent changes.
Hersheypark celebrates its 115th season in 2021 by introducing several brand new, delicious additions to its already jam-packed menu of goodies and fun.
If you’re a tried and true chocoholic, you’ll fall head over heels this season. The brand new Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor, for example, scoops up scrumptious, custom-made ice cream topped with all of your favorite Hershey’s candies.
More chocolatey deliciousness awaits at The Sweeterie Confectionery Kitchen. Sink your teeth into everything from fudge and chocolate-dipped apples to chocolate cheesecake and chocolate-dipped pretzels.
Can you feel your mouth watering yet? Memorial Day Weekend marks the opening of The Chocolatier, a brand-new restaurant and bar right inside the park. Its menu will, of course, feature its fair share of chocolate deliciousness.
Now that you’re probably thoroughly ready for a chocolate treat, consider what else you’ll do during your visit. Carve out time, for example, for a trip to ZooAmerica, and…
Climb aboard one of the dozens of rides that are open. During springtime, you’ll have your choice of 50 rides while that number will increase during the summer season.
Summertime means the return of The Boardwalk, an 11-acre waterpark that’s brimming with such thrilling water rides as the Intercoastal Waterway lazy river, the Shoreline Sprayground, and The Shore wave pool.
Hersheypark welcomes guests only on weekends until Memorial Day weekend when it opens for the regular season. Due to the pandemic, reservations are required.
