We all have our favorites spots — maybe a quaint village or a cozy town — in Pennsylvania that just make us happy whenever we visit. Now, with the holiday season upon us, so many PA towns transform into winter wonderlands, awash in twinkling lights and good cheer. Embrace the magic of the season when you visit this cozy town in Pennsylvania that also happens to be synonymous with Christmas.
Stroll through downtown Bethlehem, more commonly known as Christmas City, a cozy town that will make you feel right at home with its friendliness and holiday cheer.
Of course, you'll find plenty to do in this magical Christmas town. But, you might want to start your visit at the Historic Bethlehem Visitor Center on Main Street.
Bethlehem is also home to one of the country's best markets. Christkindlmarkt, open weekends through December 23, 2018, hosts more than 150 artisans' booths.
Jolly ole St. Nick will also be on hand to meet and pose for photos with the kids. Or, make reservations for the Breakfast with St. Nicholas, slated for 9 a.m. on December 1, 8, and 15.
Cap off your visit with a tour of the "Trees of Bethlehem" exhibit. Or, stop by The Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas for a classic Christmas film, including "It's A Wonderful Life" and "White Christmas," showing at 12:30 p.m. on select days.
