Pennsylvania is beyond compare in terms of the beauty found around the state. The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area can be found along 40 miles of the Delaware River at the Pennsylvania/New Jersey border. With 70,000 acres of forests, mountains, and rivers as well as 120 miles of trails, this state border preserve offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the state.

If you're intent on hiking to a hidden overlook in Pennsylvania, Cliff Trail in the Delaware Water Gap is a stunning forest hike you should consider.

The 5.7-mile out-and-back Cliff Trail has an overall elevation gain of 679 feet and will lead you through the lush forest and, eventually, to a scenic overlook.
