Pennsylvania promises so many opportunities for adventure. You can even create your own adventure or follow this unique Pennsylvania day trip. This day trip will take you to two amazing destinations. Start by following a picturesque path that passes hidden caves (you’ll have to keep an eye out for them). All that fresh air is sure to help you work up an appetite, perfect for satisfying at a one-of-a-kind restaurant in Pennsylvania.
Kick off your adventure with a trek along the 2.2-mile Wind Cave Trail in Pequea. The trail scores a moderate rating, mostly due to the rough and sometimes slippery terrain and the uphill climbs.
Be prepared if you plan to explore the caves, which are quite narrow, by dressing for the weather, bringing flashlights and/or headlamps, and wearing sturdy boots.
Consider wearing a helmet, too, as it's easy to bump your head on the top of the cave and on rock overheads. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

If you're only following the hiking trail, consider bringing your pup along. However, if you're going in the caves, leave the pooches at home. The caves are not dog-friendly.
Follow the orange blazes to reach the caves. You shouldn't have trouble spotting them; a warning sign is posted alongside. Heed its advice to ensure safe exploration.
