Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark Will Have A Brand New Hybrid Roller Coaster in 2023

Summer’s right around the corner, and that means just one thing. Amusement parks across Pennsylvania will open their gates for a new year, officially ushering in a season of thrills, chills, and delicious eats. If you’re heading to Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark, you’ll have the opportunity to ride the state’s very first hybrid roller coaster.
Start gearing up for a summer of epic thrills when Hersheypark unveils its brand new hybrid roller coaster – Wildcat’s Revenge – in the summer of 2023. (An opening date has not yet been announced.)
If you’re a fan of heart-stopping thrills, chances are a ride on Wildcat’s Revenge will get your adrenaline pumping. Paying homage to the popular and original Wildcat, Hersheypark’s first roller coaster, the brand new coaster whips along the track at speeds of up to 62 miles per hour.
Wildcat’s Revenges features a drop of 82 degrees and four inversions, including one that earns the title of the “World’s Largest Underflip.” The breathtaking ride will take you through 3,150 feet of thrills.
Although the debut of Wildcat’s Revenge is sure to be the highlight of the summer, several beloved attractions will celebrate milestones this year with Coal Cracker turning 50. Great Bear coaster and Fahrenheit coaster turn 25 and 15 years respectively.
If you’re not a fan of waiting in line, purchase a fast track pass online or at Guest Services on the day of your visit. A select number of passes are available each day and let you jump to the head of the line on select rides.
