The biggest holiday of the summer’s just around the corner. And, that means it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to spend your Fourth of July. Will you gather with friends at a local park, grilling hot dogs and burgers? Or, perhaps you’ll head to one of the state’s action-packed amusement parks. Of course, whatever you do, the day’s sure to cap off with a stellar fireworks display, right? Here are 9 of the best fireworks displays in Pennsylvania.
Celebrate America all day long, PA! If you’re in the Philly area, that means heading to Wawa’s Party on the Parkway for a daylong celebration, culminating in a spectacular fireworks show. The day’s events kick off at noon and feature five blocks of food and live entertainment. And, a concert starts at 7 p.m., followed by the fireworks show.
Or, head to the other side of the state – Pittsburgh – for the Celebrate America: Flashes of Freedom. Head downtown, starting at noon, for a day of fun and family-friendly activities. Live entertainment, food vendors, and a kids’ zone are among the day’s events. Of course, the evening finishes with a bang when the fireworks show starts at 9:35 p.m.

That’s right. Pay tribute to PA’s favorite groundhog and enjoy a sensational fireworks show – all in one day. Spend the day enjoying live entertainment while the kids meet Oscar the Robot. Peruse the food and crafting vendors. And, cap off the day by watching the evening’s fireworks show, set for 9:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

Spend the fourth at Lititz Spring Park for an epic celebration of America. Gates open at 12 p.m. for the day that will include a Kids Zone, a baby parade, and live entertainment. The fireworks show will burst into the air starting at 9:45 p.m. Admission is $15.

Harrisburg boasts the biggest Fourth of July fireworks show in Central PA. And, it all starts with the Food Truck Festival at Riverfront Park, kicking off at 3 p.m. on July 4, 2018. Order food from some of the 40 food trucks that will attend. Stop by the Children’s Festival. And, kick back and relax to live music. The fireworks will kick off at around 9:15 p.m.
Is there anywhere better to spend the Fourth than at Hershey Park, jumping from ride to ride, eating all that delicious amusement park food, and counting down the hours until the evening’s spectacular fireworks show? The show starts at 10:15 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day a day early with a fantastic fireworks show at Waldameer Park in Erie. Spend the day cooling off in the water park before hitting the rides, all leading up to the evening’s main event. Fireworks start at 10 p.m. on July 3, 2018.
Relax all day long at the Fourth at Gettysburg’s 4th of July Community Concert & Fireworks, hosted by and held at Gettysburg College. The free evening will feature performances by the Willys and the Gala Pops Orchestra. Food vendors will also be at the celebration.

Make it a long weekend by stopping by Galeton’s Independence Day Celebration, slated for Saturday, July 7, 2018. The day starts with a parade at 11 a.m. followed by a festival with rides and vendors at noon. The daylong event, which ends at 10 p.m., caps off with a spectacular fireworks display.
